Patient-Centered Website Gets New Look
The Pennsylvania Medical Society has redesigned its patient-centered Family Health and Wellness website.
The website, which was launched in 2006, provides consumer-friendly medical information developed, collected, and edited by the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
The redesigned site is easier to navigate, with a new search feature and site map.
The Society also has improved its “Find-A-Physician” tool, which allows patients to search for member physicians. Patients now can search on additional criteria—such as age and languages spoken—and get directions to a physician’s office. Members of the State Society are urged to update their profiles on the Society’s website so that patients will find current information on Find-A-Physician.
The Family Health and Wellness website also features a highlighted health topic, general medical resources, and interactive self-assessments and calculators.
