Counter Details: Antiretroviral Therapy in Women, May 2006

Objectives

Physicians participating in this activity should be able to: 

• Recognize considerations for prescribing antiretrovirals to women.
• Identify risk factors of antiretroviral drugs for cardiovascular complications.
• Recognize barriers placing women at risk, to improve human life.
• Create awareness regarding improvement of quality of life issues.
• Refer women who require supportive services.

The Pennsylvania Medical Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

The Pennsylvania Medical Society designates this educational activity for a maximum of 3.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the educational activity.
