About the blogger: Scot Chadwick is the vice president for Governmental Affairs at the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
Prior to joining PAMED, he served eight terms in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where he sponsored several pro-physician tort reform measures. Scot has been involved in virtually all of PAMED’s major legislative initiatives, including the Act 13 reforms of 2002 and the recent Mcare/health insurance battle.
