OIG Offers Free Fraud and Abuse Compliance Training

Get the facts, make a plan, and learn what to do when a fraud and abuse compliance issue arises.

Now available via a webcast, training offered by the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) focuses on Medicare fraud and abuse compliance and the importance of implementing an effective compliance program.

Topics include navigating fraud and abuse laws; compliance program basics; operating an effective compliance program; understanding program exclusions; navigating the government; the importance of documentation; and more. Also included are presentations by several government representatives involved in the enforcement of health care fraud laws.
