Education Series Brings Physicians and Hospitals Together to Increase Quality

Everything is changing in health care. The passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), with its focus on value and transforming care delivery, means physicians and hospitals will have to collaborate like never before. Key to this collaboration is using data to increase the quality and value of patient care.

Over the next several months, the Pennsylvania Medical Society – in cooperation with the Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania – will offer “Physicians and Hospitals—Advancing Quality Together,” a four-part educational series designed to help you explore collaborative leadership strategies, improve quality and value, and adapt to new payment models. The series will be helpful to physicians providing patient care, regardless of practice setting, as well as hospital administrators and quality and CME directors.

Physicians can earn CME for participation in these activities. The Pennsylvania Medical Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
