This publication includes the findings of a 2007 survey of Pennsylvania physicians and hospitals regarding their current broadband access and use and physicians’ use of electronic medical records, electronic prescribing, and other technologies. The report illustrates these findings and their implications using color maps and graphs. The Society recommends specific actions, based on its findings, to achieve statewide health information exchange. The survey was commissioned by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
